Job Description :

The Aftermarket Sales Specialist will assist the Sales and Service department in a wide variety of activities including product and service support for our customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Increase aftermarket revenues and margins by establishing new service agreements, service plans, parts, and rental business
  • Improve upon and increase customer loyalty
  • Travel daily to visit customers
  • Recommendation of further Airmatic products and services
  • Provide consultative sales and support to customers
  • Build customer relationships in a professional manner through solution-oriented communication, service, and telephone support
  • Coordinate a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of work
  • Collaborate on sold services, service quotes, and maintenance contracts
  • Identify and quote accurate parts and services to customers in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Director of Aftermarket and other involved departments to resolve escalated problems
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • Participate in positive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Make sure that the customer is happy!

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required :

  • High level of customer service skills as well as the ability to respond quickly
  • The ability to articulate the value of service level agreements along with the benefits of establishing preventative maintenance practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be motivated and personable with a serious work ethic
  • Must work effectively with little to no supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • The qualified candidate will reside in New Jersey, USA.
