As part of the Maintenance Team you will beworking to deliver solutions to improve our process reliabilityproduct quality and plantwide performance.

Someof the duties of the instrumentation and control technicianare :

• Consulting diagrams and technicaldocumentation such as schematics manuals standards andcodes;
• Maintaining backup and revisiondocumentation for control systems andinstrumentation;
• Manage SCADA type devices inan industrial based environment
• Installingconfiguring calibrating and maintaining control measurement andindicating instrumentation (pneumatic analog &digital);
• Configuring and programmingProgrammable Logic Controls (PLC) and Programmable AutomationControllers (PAC);
• Organize and order PLCcontrol components in order to maintain plant process controlsystems.
• Work with corporate IT staff asrequired with miscellaneous network and computeractivities.
• Must be able to prepare technicalreports for documenting issues / changes toequipment.
• Must be able to manage projects forimplementing changes and improvements.
• Employeemust be willing to be on call to support productionneeds.
• Installing and terminating electricalpneumatic and fluid connections;
• Inspecting andtesting the operation of instruments and systems to diagnosefaults;
• Removing repairing adjusting andreplacing components;
• Calibrating componentsand systems;
• Assisting engineering in plantdesign modification and hazardanalysis;
• Maintaining various computerbasedcontrol systems;
• Performing scheduledmaintenance programs; and
• Keeping uptodate withadvances in technology in industry and thetrade.

Theyare used in industry to measure and control variables such aspressure flow temperature level motion force and chemicalcomposition.
