The Elm is a Berkshires fine dining restaurant, focused on offering exceptional food, drink and service to our patrons in an elegant, fun, and lively atmosphere. Each member of staff from the owners, chefs and dishwashers to the servers and bartenders works closely together to provide a high level of service to our guests. Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations or cupboards
- Assist with food preparation and banquet setup as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food handling regulations
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus
