Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Candidates must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reporting any Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) violations to company leadership.
• Complete daily work team assignments according to the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Monitor daily, monthly and quarterly work assignments.
• Completes additional sanitary projects while maintaining and documenting progress.
• Attain knowledge of training including HACCP, GMPs, Food Safety, MSDS, chemical safe handling.
• Maintains all sanitary cleaning equipment and tools.
• Assist monitoring chemical inventories and their proper storage with supervisor and outside chemical technician
• Assist with other duties around the facility as needed.
• Follow company rules, food safety, personnel safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure a safe clean working environment.
• Work as active member of the department’s team.
• Be able to communicate with leads, managers, or supervisors regarding any safety or sanitation concerns.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Experience preferred but not necessary
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that involves the uses of tools and controls.
• Be able to lift and push a minimum of 50 lbs. as needed
• Must be comfortable with heights, ladders and man-lift equipment
• Be able to communicate openly and effectively with leads and managers as needed.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Manufacturing Sanitation: 2 years (Required)
• Food Manufactuing: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
