THE OPPORTUNITY:

Eco is seeking an experienced Financial Analysis Advisor to Join our growing team! As a Financial Planner and Analysis Advisor, you will undertake aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. You will also provide financial insights and projections to the finance team, as well as reliable data and solutions to be used in decision-making and planning for the company.

The Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of all company policies and guarantees.
• Advanced financial modeling using VBA, Macros, and Query functions to develop ad hoc and automated reporting.
• Advanced experience in analyzing income statements and understanding profitability levers.
• Coordinate and direct the budget preparation and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, providing thoughtful analysis, identifying action items, and effectively framing decisions that need to be made.
• Job-Costing of larger projects to seek margin improvement opportunities.
• Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll process knowledge.
• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
