KATC, The E.W. Scripps the ABC affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana is searching for an engaging meteorologist who will connect with viewers both on-air & online and in the community. The Weekend Evening Meteorologist is responsible for analyzing meteorological data gathered by satellites and radar to prepare reports and forecasts for the newscasts, digital, & social media. Beyond the forecast, you'll to responsible to cover for Weekday Meteorologist shifts, engage with the community by attending events and being active online.
