The Dub – Job Description
Restaurant Manager
The Dub Deli and Pub is a brand new restaurant concept opening summer 2024 in the Anaheim Resort Area, across the street from the Disneyland Resort. This concept brings the highest quality ingredients together in a newly designed space including its fresh deli and pizza offerings as well as a curated selection of local craft beers. The Dub seeks to fill its Restaurant Manager position with a dynamic leader who possess demonstrated success in driving revenue, fostering high performing teams and leading both front and back of house operations.
Job Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
-Oversee the front of house and back of house daily operations of the restaurant to achieve customer service and financial goalso
-Create and manage weekly schedules, training schedules, and maintain constant supervision of all restaurant staff members, including the coach/counsel of staff on performance, product knowledge and grooming
-Deliver concise and timely communication and reporting to staff
-Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed and the restaurant is left in a ready-to-open condition
-Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
-Ensure that all safety and sanitation levels are upheld in accordance with local regulationso Handle all customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure satisfactory resolution of problems
-Become subject matter expert on POS system to train staff and optimize function and revenue
-Train staff members on systems, order taking, menu knowledge, proper selling techniqueso
-Manage staff relations (human resources) including payroll, hiring, training, recognition and termination of employees

-Lead planning and execution of special eventso Other projects and tasks may be delegated as needed
Job Requirements & Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-Two - Five years of Restaurant Manager level, supervisory experience in a high volume, reputable dining establishment with over 100 seats
-Strong knowledge of front of house operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques and customer interaction
-Strong knowledge of back of house operations including human resources, supply order and management, quality control, financial reporting
-Ability to receive and deliver honest, actionable, and credible feedback to/from team members as appropriate
-Demonstrated positive leadership style with an enthusiastic, positive, committed, and flexible attitude; strong ability to promote the importance and benefit of effective teamwork
-Possess outstanding business and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
-Adaptable to change and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
-Proven managerial abilities in people management, problem solving, strategic planning and decision making with ability to think and act quickly
-Computer proficient, including Microsoft applicationso Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to communicate with customers and employees in a clear speaking voice, listen to and understand
-Ability to present information and respond to questions from owners, staff members, and customers
-California Food Handlers card and ABC certification is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food and alcoholo
-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while working mornings, days or evenings, weekends and holidays as required
-Bilingual - English/Spanish skills helpful, but not required
