The Associate Director of Board & Data Quality is a member of DREAM's Employee & Member Support team. DREAM’s Employee & Member Support team strives to fulfill our organization's mission of closing the opportunity gap by supporting each other, our programs and our AmeriCorps members.
The Board Administrator & Data Quality Manager has four primary areas of focus (as well as additional, occasional impact initiatives): 1) Data Quality: to ensure all program data is accurate and complete, and the program database is accessible and functional for staff; 2) Program Safety: to ensure all volunteers are fully background screened before engaging in service, 3) AmeriCorps Compliance: to ensure our AmeriCorps members and their corresponding files are compliant with our grant and AmeriCorps guidelines 4) Board Support: to facilitate communication and operations of our Board of Directors. This position is also oriented towards supporting the organization’s growth trajectory, particularly when it comes to building systems that will streamline the core focus areas across a larger footprint.

Primary Objectives:
The experience: This role is largely administrative but requires the building of valuable relationships with our Board of Directors and key members of our team who work in the field. The work assigned to the Manager has a direct impact on daily operations of our programs and our nonprofit, so building positive relationships with those that the work supports and regularly interacting with each member of our employee team is vital. Additionally, due to the potential impact the work has on daily operations, accuracy, efficiency and timeliness are qualities that will lead to success. Members of our team expect the Board Administrator & Data Quality Manager to be highly organized and to communicate effectively and regularly. Thus, this role involves high levels of teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal communication. While serving in this role, the Administrator will regularly tap into problem solving skills and creative solutions to organizational challenges, as well as lead training and communication efforts for the solutions they introduce to the organization.

Position type/expected hours of work: This is a full time, non-exempt position. The position will average 35-45 hours per week with regular evenings and occasional weekend events over the course of the year. Participation and leadership at regular multi-day retreats is required (typically one each quarter).Supervisory Responsibility: This position supports all AmeriCorps members and employees, but does not have any direct reports.Work environment/physical demands: This position operates primarily in a professional office environment (with work-from-home/remote options) as well as an indoor/outdoor environment with active children and students. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee/member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:Due to the collaborative nature of our program execution, this position requires comfort working in outdoor environments, regardless of the weather. This position can be very active and frequently requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee/member is regularly required to communicate with individuals who talk and hear. The employee/member must occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee/member is regularly required to observe and comprehend using vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Travel: Travel includes local travel (colleges, partners and communities with which we work) and regional travel (visiting other DREAM geographies and for retreats and special events) during the work hours described. Out-of-the-area and overnight travel will be expected.
