We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Front Receptionist to join our team at The Dog Stop. As the first point of contact for our clients and their furry companions, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
We work 3 1/2 days on and 3 1/2 days off ~ Sunday - Weds & Weds evening - Sat Shifts 6:30 am to 7:00
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Answering Phone Calls:* Professionally and courteously handle incoming calls, providing information about our services, scheduling appointments, and addressing client inquiries.
- *Checking Dogs In and Out:* Greet clients and their dogs, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Verify vaccination records and communicate any special instructions to the daycare staff.
- *Scheduling Appointments:* Efficiently schedule daycare visits, grooming appointments, and boarding reservations. Keep track of availability and accommodate client preferences to the best of your ability.
- *Customer Service:* Deliver exceptional customer service by being approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable about our services and policies. Resolve client concerns or issues with empathy and professionalism.
- *Maintaining Records:* Keep accurate records of client information, vaccination records, and appointment details. Ensure all data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- *Teamwork:* Collaborate closely with the daycare staff and management to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the facility. Communicate effectively and assist with any tasks as needed.
*Requirements:*
- Positive and friendly attitude, with a passion for working with dogs and their owners.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for appointment scheduling and record-keeping.
- Previous experience in a similar role or the pet care industry is a plus.
