The Dermatology House is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Park, UT

About us

The Dermatology House is a full-service Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology practice in Park City, Utah. Owned and operated by Dr. Kelly Stankiewicz, The Dermatology House offers a close-knit family culture with an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications/registrations: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of dermatology experience.
  • Have a passion for skincare.

Job functions will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Upholding clinic values and CARING standards.
  • Welcoming and rooming patients.
  • Gathering a complete medical history including past medical history and current medication list.
  • Documenting and scribing into electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Setting up for and assisting with a variety of procedures including skin biopsies and surgeries, laser treatments, and cosmetic injections.
  • Providing patient education and an outstanding patient experience.
  • Triaging and responding to patient messages and requests.
  • Monitoring and maintaining education materials.
  • Preparing exam rooms for patient visits including cleaning and stocking supplies.
  • Sterilizing instruments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
