Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve drinks to patrons following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor customer intake to prevent overconsumption and ensure safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and responsible alcohol service
- Proficiency in POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate billing and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
- Understanding of the food industry, sales techniques, and bartending best practices
