The Delong Company is a grain handling company looking for a seasoned hostler driver to move 20 and 40 ft shipping containers in our container yard. The individual must be able to efficiently back containers up to the loading dock. The driver will be expected to open the container doors before loading and close after loading. Drivers will move 20 to 50 containers per day in an 8-10 hour day. The individual will be part of the Delong Company team and will not be limited to driving, although they will be doing so 95% of the time. They will also assist in the grain handling operation as needed.

This job operates in an outdoor environment. There is exposure to grain dust, weather elements, heavy truck and machinery activity.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, handle heights up to 150 feet, and work in all weather conditions. This is a manual labor job. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
