The Delong Co Inc is Hiring a Payables Accountant Near Clinton, WI

- This is a full-time hourly position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the peak work hours.
- Process and verify payments for grain byproducts in accordance with established procedures and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds to suppliers.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions related to grain byproducts and generate regular reports for management on payable metrics and financial performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure seamless information flow and communicate with suppliers regarding payment status and resolve any payment-related queries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in payable workflows, and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- All other duties assigned by management.

- High level work ethic, punctuality and self-motivation.
- Required
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1 years of office experience
- 1 years of accounting experience
- Preferred
- 1 years of data entry
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Bachelors degree in accounting, or equivalent experience
- Basic computer and Microsoft experience
- Basic Math Skills
- Problem Solving
- Strong Communication
- Detail Orientated
