Job Description:

The Export Logistics Support To learn the end-to-end containerized logistics process for The Delong Co., Inc. and assist the rest of the logistics team in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities.

FULL-TIME/ PART-TIME: Full- time

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Hourly

Location: Clinton, WI

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of Export Logistics Support:

Create export shipments using third party platform websites and customer service groups.
Process emails from steamship lines by forwarding to the appropriate team members and cross checking the documents for accuracies.
Accurately enter and edit data in our grain database.
Communicate any changes in the shipment schedule to the loading points and documentation teams.
Answer and field phone calls for the rest of the Logistics team.
Cover and cross train for other logistics team members when there is a surplus workload, or absences occur.
Run the logistics planning meeting once a quarter.

Key Attributes of the Export Logistics Support :

1 year in a customer service or public facing roll required
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite required
Basic Mathematics required
Proficient typing skills required
1 year in logistics supply chain preferred
Strong typing skills preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to sit for long periods.
Ability to use multiple computer screens at the same time.
Other duties as assigned.
