Job Summary: The Pharmacy Coordinator is expected to plan, direct, monitor, and adjust 340B pharmacy operations as required for goal attainment and regulatory compliance. This position has oversight over onsite and contract pharmacy operations. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacist to make decisions that will ensure patients receive proper prescriptions and services (including the right to receive consultation as required by federal law) while achieving department goals. This position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in 340B pharmaceutical procedures and the ability to make adjustments based on emerging 340B legislation and regulations. This position will work collaboratively with other departments throughout the organization to establish procedures and workflow to ensure the standards for accuracy, productivity, and customer relations are maintained to maximize patient compliance and health outcomes.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred. Knowledge of 340B pharmacy services with three (3) to five (5) years of progressive experience in an inpatient or outpatient pharmacy. Experience with insurance claims for third-party payors including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance is a must. Experience supervising staff preferred. The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
