Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for providing excellent recuperative care of ill, frail, or functionally impaired patients. This position supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of all Medical Respite services. Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Must have successfully passed an approved Medication Assistant Program and be able to provide proof of certification. Must have current CPR with First Aid certification. At least one (1) year of experience involving care-givingof the physically ill or functionally impaired preferred.  Must possess and be able to provide proof of valid Virginia Driver’s License. Skills include excellent oral and written communications including telephone, organizational, and personal computer including word processing and Microsoft office.
