The Tribune is the online presence of CullmanSense, which was launched in 2010 as a daily e-publication and expanded to include a weekly print edition in 2011. The Cullman Tribune provides news and information to the local community through its online platform and print distribution.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Salesperson at The Cullman Tribune. The Salesperson will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and meeting sales targets. This is a hybrid role that requires the Salesperson to be based in Cullman, AL, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in sales and achieving sales targets
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Experience in the media industry or advertising sales is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred
