Year-Round, Full time Groundskeeper Needed for Private Estate

Established private estate in Dover, MA seeking year-round, full time groundskeeper. Potential candidates should have previous landscaping and groundskeeping experience. Knowledge of how private estates operate is a plus. This position is year round and requires working in variable weather conditions.
This is a full time benefits eligible position. Working hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00 am -3:30 pm.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Regular lawn care and maintenance
  • Weed whacking
  • Path maintenance
  • Raking/blowing of leaves
• Ability to operate the following machines: zero turn mower, chainsaw, small tractor with attachments
• Snow removal including shoveling and plowing.
• Moving rocks, logs and other vegetation as needed
• Climbing ladders and cleaning building gutters
• Removing trees up to 12-15" in diameter, including fallen limbs
• Weekly cleaning and upkeep of equipment

Skills and Abilities:

• Safe operation and use of equipment
• Must be able to lift and shift 70 lbs. comfortably
• Ability to bend, kneel, walk, and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• High regard for and collaboration with team members
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction
• Attention to detail and proactive, positive attitude
• Team player, ability to work collaboratively with a variety of team members
• Ability to be flexible as tasks and priorities are variable and evolve

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be able to lift and shift 70lbs.
• Must be able to conduct strenuous and physically demanding tasks
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without required sponsorship
• Must have current and valid driver’s license
• Must agree to and successfully pass background screening
