The Cove Hotel in Long Beach, CA is looking for one lobby lounge attendant to join team. We are a 76 room boutique hotel located on 200 East Willow Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the set-up, service and cleanliness of the lobby lounge.
• Maintaining a consistent, professional, and positive attitude in all communication.
• Ensure proper set up and presentation of food, beverage and all necessary supplies.
• Replenish food, beverage and supplies as needed.
• Make sure hot food is served hot and cold food is kept fresh.
• Ensure proper set up of snacks at the end of shift.
• Bus tables as needed. Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Ability to properly use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a sometimes slow and occasionally fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.
• Must be able to change activities easily and frequently.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with associates and guests.
