The Courville Bedford - Carlyle is Hiring a Nurse (RN or LPN) - ALF Fridays 11-7 Near Bedford, NH

The Courville at Bedford-Carlyle is an Assisted Living Community in Bedford, NH. Conveniently located across the street from the Bedford Village Inn. We are locally owned and operated and committed to providing personalized service and care. We’re looking for a PT Nurse (LPN/RN):

  • 11p-7a - Fridays only or Per Diem
  • Shift Diff $6/hr
  • Small, personal ALF in Bedford - max 36 residents

Job Description: This position requires a motivated and energetic individual preferably with experience in nursing care. The right candidate will have passion for human kindness and wellness for life.

Qualifications:

  • All applicants must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
  • Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN/RN in the state of New Hampshire and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.

Job functions for LPNs/RNs include but are not limited to:

  • Directing the functions of the nursing assistants
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures of the facility
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
  • Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician's Order Form
  • Chart all reports of accident/incidents involving residents. Follow established procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.
  • Review residents' charts for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc., as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards.

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
  • Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
