Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for coffee, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties: - Prepare and serve coffee-based beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation - Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries, as needed - Use Aloha POS system to process orders and track inventory Skills: - Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and coffee types - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner - Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register - Basic understanding of retail math for calculating prices and making change - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service - Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
