The Country Club of Virginia is seeking a passionate and talented manager for The Cool Springs Café outlet to supervise the Front-of-House operations in order to meet and exceed customer expectations and Club financial goals. The Cool Springs Café Manager will oversee three supervisors as well as a front-of-house team of around 20-25. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Oversee and manage all FoH operations
• Develop, communicate, and maintain standard operating procedures and training programs for staff, ensuring that all line-level staff are properly trained and tested on that training
• Schedule staff, balancing budget requirements and operational needs
• Act as an ABC Manager and ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations
• Follow all CCV HR guidelines and file all related paperwork promptly 
• Maintain a high degree of visibility - be the "face" of the Café
• Effectively work with employees from other departments 
• Keep track of and report on labor costs

The Country Club of Virginia is a private, single-privilege membership club located in Richmond, Virginia. CCV, which was organized in 1908, has always been one of the largest clubs in the country. Our 7,800 members support 1,111 acres containing two superb clubhouses situated seven miles apart, 54 holes of golf, racquet sports, aquatics, fitness, and multiple dining outlets and special event venues. The Cool Springs Cafe

The Cool Springs Café is in the recently renovated Fitness and Racquet Sports facility at The Country Club of Virginia. With a fast-casual model and a healthy twist, the Cafe serves a combination of quick-service and cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 7 days a week. An open kitchen, elaborate salad bar, and wood-fired pizza oven are key features. The Cool Springs Café is a comfortable and casual environment. 

Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have a desired career path in hospitality, as well as high attention to detail, a commitment to training, and high standards. This is a department head-level manager position, with 1-2 years of experience supervising in a high-volume a la carte environment required. A hands-on management style and solid administrative skills will be essential.
