The Cotton Gin Boutique is a family owned women’s clothing store located in Jones Valley in Huntsville Alabama. Our small business was established in 2013 with a mission to empower individuals to express their unique style with confidence. With our doors open six days a week, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment, where fashion meets individuality, helping each person discover their signature look and their best.

Position Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for a sales and social media manager at the Cotton Gin Boutique in Huntsville, Alabama. The position will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including communication with customers, driving sales and social media management.

Main responsibilities include social media marketing and management. Planning and scheduling photo content and website management.

The position will also be responsible for greeting all customers in a friendly manner, promotes products/sales, must create and ensures proper visual merchandise displays, assists customers in fitting rooms, steams new inventory, and maintains a clean work area.

Applicant Requirements:

-Must be 19 years of age or older

-Minimum of one year experience in retail environment (preferred)

-Able to work weekdays, weekends & holidays (full to part time approx. 30-40 per week)

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Strong interest in fashion - knowledge of fashion trends

-Creative mind with a love for fashion merchandising

-Detail oriented and organized

-Comfortable using Canva software, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook efficiently
