The Cottages of Lacey is a newly built, 60 bed secured Assisted Living Memory Care Community. Currently looking for full time caregivers to join our growing team. We have full-time openings, please come in and fill out an application today!

Requirements: Our top candidates will have a valid WA State CNA or HCA credential and valid certificates for the following WA state training requirements: Dementia Care, Mental Health, Food Handler's permit, and current First Aid and CPR certifications. Dementia experience is strongly preferred. Med Techs will need their nursing delegation and diabetes focus certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Complete medication passes in a timely manner.

· Answer call lights in a timely manner.

· Responsible for attending to all care needs of the residents in their assigned sections, either scheduled or as they arise following resident Care Plan.

· Set-up tables and assists with serving meals by bringing residents into the dining room and documenting meal intake percentage daily.

· Chart any unusual incident or information needing to be passed on to the Director of Nursing or Med-Tech via Communication Log.

· Report any emergencies to the Director of Nursing or Resident Care Coordinator.

· Knowledge of proper transfer techniques and body mechanics to transfer residents with appropriate assistance.

· Contact with resident’s families and prospective residents.

· Be able to collect vital signs and report to DNS or RCC.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and effectively in a dynamic customer service environment. All positions require mandatory two-step TB testing, minimum of 2 professional references, fingerprinting, and a clean criminal background check.
