Job Summary:
Our van driver is an important part of our activities team!
If you love to work with seniors and have a knack for excellent customer service and logistics coordination skills and would thrive helping our residents get around town for doctor appointments and activities, this could be a great fit.
This isn't just a driving job - in this role you'll assist the Resident Engagement Director with organizing transportation of our residents to various appointments and excursions throughout the surrounding community, as well as ensuring their safety as they get in and out of the vehicles.
The van driver provides transportation for our community's residents and also helps coordinate logistics. This position requires a valid Connecticut Class F driver's license and safe driving history. Knowledge of handicapped accessories and safe transportation practices are required. Driver for scheduled medical appointments, routine shopping trips, scheduled outings. May assist residents with special needs such as walkers or wheelchairs and operate bus to accommodate special needs of residents.
