Job Title: Skilled Painter
Full Job Description
Who we are:
- Prepare on-site arrangements such as ladders, scaffolding, covering fixtures, and other necessary site preparations.
- Use protective gear and coverings to protect trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces from paint.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint. Assess, examine, and confirm surfaces to match scope of work.
- Fill cracks and holes with suitable materials such as plaster.
- Apply paints, stains, and other finishes to various interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers according to specifications.
- Mix and match paints and finishes to meet job requirements.
- Implement health and safety precautions meticulously.
- Interact with clients in a professional manner at all times.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure that tasks are completed within set deadlines.
- Remove and reinstall fixtures like doorknobs and switch covers as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 2 years proven experience in commercial and residential painting with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques on how to select, mix, and apply them.
- Proficiency with painting tools including brushes, rollers, and caulking guns.
- Good basic math skills for precise mixing and surface area calculations.
- Strong manual dexterity and balance for working on scaffolds and ladders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Outstanding customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
