Tortoise Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Residential Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential remodeling, with expertise in both interior and exterior work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and develop into a Site Lead role with our company.

Tortoise Construction is a full service remodel and repair company. We work thoroughly and in detail. We provide our clients a YES to every maintenance, repair, or remodel. We build long term relationships with our customers. As a company we expect things done well, and know it takes more time than most companies allow. We pay a competitive wage and bonuses.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform interior remodeling work, including but not limited to insulation, drywall, cabinets, tile, flooring, and finish trim.
- Handle some exterior work and repairs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Install windows and doors, both interior and exterior.
- Work on various residential carpentry projects, demonstrating well-rounded carpentry skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the client's satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential remodeling.
- Strong and well-rounded residential carpentry skills.
- Desire to learn and grow within the company, with aspirations to become a Site Lead.
- Valid license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Presentable appearance and professional demeanor.
- Commitment to working cleanly and safely at all times.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
