Job Summary:
- Manage all aspects of custom home construction and remodeling projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Develop project estimates, plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against established goals.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budget.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the construction process.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Lead and mentor project team members, including carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, preferred, but not necessary
- 5-10 Years of Proven experience as a project manager in the residential construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing custom home projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
