The Contractor Consultants is Hiring an Electrical Technician (Industrial) Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $16 - $30 per hour (compensation based on experience)

Job Overview:
Delta Wye Electric is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Industrial Electricians and learn the intricacies of electrical systems in industrial settings. This position offers a well-defined career growth path with ongoing training and development opportunities to become a skilled and qualified Industrial Electrician!
Responsibilities:
  • Learning and Development: Participate in on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced Industrial Electricians to gain hands-on experience in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Electrical System Support: Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand electrical layouts and plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the industrial electrical team and actively participate in collaborative projects.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in the Industrial Electric industry.
Requirements:
  • 2 YEARS Minimum of Industrial Electrical work.
  • Electrical Interest: Demonstrate a strong interest in the electrical field and a desire to pursue a career as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Any relevant electrical education or certification is a plus.
  • Safety Awareness: Show a commitment to safety and the willingness to follow safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Physical Ability: Be able to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various industrial settings.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Exhibit a proactive attitude towards learning and taking on new challenges.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Conduit bending experience
  • Experience with EMT and Rigid conduit up to 3''
  • Raceways installation
  • Cable ladder trays
  • Wire baskets
  • Experience installing Industrial Electrical components to include switchgear, panel boards , disconnects , MCC's , transformers
  • Wire pulling experience , technique and ability
  • MEWP certified - ( Boom and scissor lift)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certified
  • Having attended or currently attending electrical trade school
  • Electrical drawing familiarization
  • Possess all the proper hand tools and some battery-operated tools to perform Job
