The Contemporary Austin is seeking temporary part-time administrative assistance for the Development Department for approximately 2 months.

Reports to: Director of DevelopmentPay Range: $19.23-24.04/hourStatus: Part-time (20 hours/week), temporary

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create digital invitations and manage RSVP lists
• Work at in-person events including checking in guests
• Monitor shared email inboxes
• Assist in fulfilling membership mailings
• Assist department members with project management
• Data entry with attention to detail
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• One year of experience in non-profit administration, preferably in the fundraising department
• Strong administration skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, keen attention to detail, strong work ethic
• A can-do, flexible, resourceful, and goal-oriented attitude
• The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality is paramount
• Proficiency in Office systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) preferred
• Experience with project management tools preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Work Environment

• Hybrid in person and remote
• Occasional evening and weekend in person work

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but strong work experience will be considered

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
