Supervision Received:
Under limited supervision this individual will work independently in performing routine assignments referring unusual or more difficult situations to the Plant Operations manager.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Completes interior/exterior painting projects as needed |
Maintain floors including stripping, waxing, burnishing and shampooing as needed. |
Performs general maintenance tasks including minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks and moving of heavy furniture as needed. |
Work with other plant personnel on small renovation projects, assist other plant personnel in the maintenance of exterior grounds i.e. grass cutting, pulling weeds, clearing walk ways of snow and ice as necessary. |
Responds to emergency calls as directed by the Plant Operation Manager as needed. |
Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of agency equipment, reports findings to Plant Operation Manager and takes appropriate action as needed. |
Notifies Plant Operation Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of quality problems or supplies needed. |
Organizes work schedule to fit various program needs in order to minimize program disruptions during the workday. |
Prioritizes cleaning needs and organize daily work schedule. |
Perform other duties and responsibilities as they relate to the overall enhancement of program service delivery. |
