The Consortium Inc. is Hiring a DevOps Data Power, Access Manager Near Baltimore, MD

Seeking Consultant within a 2 hour commute to Baltimore Beltway (I-495) for occasional onsite requirements.

Immediate need for DevOps Consultant with Data Power automation experience for support of development, maintenance, and monitoring of the Access Control Utility and Secure Web Services Architecture w/ credentialing. Consultant will be responsible for online web security architecture information sensitive federal agency.

Involves = Integration of Internet application and web service; Integration of Intranet applications and web services Integration of other security applications such as 2 Factor Authentication, identity proofing, and enhanced remote access security applications; ACU Infrastructure Monitoring including development of monitoring tools and alerts.

This Security Access Manager & DataPower security infrastructure supports Citizens, Business Partners, and Employee’s access to applications. MUST have strong DataPower automation skills & experience building scripts that can be fed into a deployment pipeline using SOMA or REST APIs. Consultant will be required to deploy an app with a script and create a baseline model.

  • SOMA scripting
  • Design and develop automation frameworks for Security Infrastructure Configuration & Administration
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on DevOps
  • Tuning / Troubleshoot Configuration issues

Full-time support is required Monday through Friday within a flexible band of 6am to 6pm. However, individual schedules will be set in response to the needs to ensure 24/ 7 uptime. Occasional scheduled weekend, off-hour, and holiday support will be required to conduct maintenance and repairs. In addition, support personnel may be required to carry a pager or cell phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Response to emergency pages, including coming in to the PEB, NSC or SSC, is expected 24 x 7, 365 days per year. Support personnel may be required to use a furnished laptop, rotational cell phone or other communications device. Staff will need to submit a Suitability package which can take about four weeks for the clearance to be processed.

Minimum Experience:

  • SOMA scripting – 3 years
  • DevOps, CI/CD pipelines – Git / Bitbucket, Jenkins, Urban Code Build / Deploy – 3 years
  • XSLT, XML, Datapower Gatewayscript, Javascript, Python, Shell Script– 3 Years
  • REST APIs / Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) – 3 Years
  • Comfortable using REST management interface for API calls to script and automate certificate management.
  • Install and configure DataPower Operations Dashboard (DPOD)
  • Use API calls for daily admin tasks- device backup, secure backup and device update
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.

Preference will be given to consultants with:

  • More than 2 years of all below
  • Linux /Unix
  • Modern Authentication / Authorization Concepts – Oauth 2 / Open ID Connect / SAML- 2 years
  • Experience/knowledge of Agile development
  • Datapower
  • Security Access Manager
