JOB SUMMARY

The weekend RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care needs of patient and families and the responses to intervention in collaboration with other disciplines. Coordinates the services provided by all disciplines and community services. Manages all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment. The RN carries out other responsibilities as assigned, and is responsible for adhering to hospice, nursing and human resource policies, procedures, and standards. The RN demonstrates a integrity and a commitment to professional accountability and growth at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Demonstrated support of the organizational philosophy and adherence to established policy/procedure.
• Ensures that optimal age/culture specific patient care is continually provided by employing the use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
• Demonstrated competency in safe performance of duties through utilization of appropriate scientific principles and sound clinical judgements.
• Functions as an interdisciplinary team member and fosters effective interpersonal communication skills with all those encountered.
• Appropriately assumes the leadership role and assigns/directs staff according to their job descriptions and capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $42.00 per hour
