JOB SUMMARY:

The Community Blood Center is seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our team as a Marketing Operations Associate. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the marketing department's project management, market research, analysis, and data management efforts while driving daily marketing and communications activities to meet organizational objectives. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently within set timeframes, leveraging a data-driven approach to enhance brand awareness and develop strategic recommendations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

Promotions Management:

  • Develop and execute innovative promotions and incentives to drive blood donation, collaborating closely with the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Oversee donor loyalty programs, managing setup, testing, donor communication, and ongoing management.
  • Responsible for budget assistance, purchasing, and inventory management of donor incentive items.

Project Coordination:

  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to coordinate logistics and provide support for high school programs such as Gallon Grad and scholarships, ensuring a seamless donor experience through online systems.

Marketing Systems Management:

  • Support donor CRM marketing activities, including email, text, and voice message communication.
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling content and creative assets for communication initiatives.
  • Manage system creation, audience building, and implementation to enhance donor engagement.
  • Coordinate print donor communication and fulfill data needs for the marketing department through external vendor collaboration.

Research & Analytics:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify donor demographics, habits, trends, and competitor strategies, informing marketing and recruitment tactics.
  • Analyze marketing and communication strategies to engage first-time donors, retain current donors, and understand platelet donor engagement habits.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs across traditional and digital channels, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for optimization.
  • Track and analyze project performance metrics to refine messaging and content strategies, leveraging data insights to maximize ROI.
  • Provide regular analysis of website and social media performance, staying updated on industry trends and emerging digital channels.

Digital Marketing:

  • Support digital marketing activities including website management, SEO/SEM, Google products, and online listing management.
  • Ensure the website is updated with relevant content to enhance user experience and drive engagement.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing community awareness initiatives and special events.
  • Analyze past event results to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Support special event planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct educational programs and tours for donor groups, businesses, and schools to promote the importance of blood donation.
  • Collect, track, and analyze donor numbers and sales leads generated by each event.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing research, business administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) for content posting and engagement.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Word within the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience contributing professional work within an established brand voice.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects effectively within set timeframes.

Skills:

  • Passion for enhancing communication and marketing using data and analytics.
  • Understanding of traditional and digital marketing methods and market research techniques.
  • Analytical and creative thinking with keen attention to detail and curiosity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands effectively.
