This position is primarily responsible for resort grounds and landscaping on a year round basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned)

• Maintains plant shrubs, trees, and flowers. Prunes trees and shrubs.

• Mows lawns (occasionally) and removes debris from walkways (including snow when necessary) and rakes leaves.

• Waters trees, shrubs, and lawns and performs irrigation activities.

• Sprays for weeds and insects using unrestricted chemicals as required.

• Operates lawn mowers, auger, edger, hand tools, and utility vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activities.

• May operate pickup truck and trailers for hauling purposes and for trash and debris removal.

• Shovels and removes snow and ice from designated areas such as sidewalks, parking lots and entryways. Will be required to work in the event of inclement weather.

• Performs minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools as required.

• Knowledge of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides and experience in grounds care and gardening highly desirable.

• Skill in operating grounds maintenance and grounds equipment preferred.

• Responsible for cleaning all grill areas throughout the resort
