Live In Resident Manager

PROGRAM: Voucher Based Housing Facility

$21.00-$23.00, Fair Housing Rent provided, Medical and Leave

SUMMARY: The Live in resident manager oversees and supervises young adults housed in voucher-based housing facility, ensuring a welcoming, safe and well-maintained facility for all residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in screening, evaluation and orientation of youth experiencing housing instability.
• To be on site evenings 4 pm to 11pm and weekends providing supervision
• Complete weekly and monthly program reports.
• Assist and model housekeeping duties in the facility to always ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
• Ensure a safe environment for fellow employees, partners and residents.
• Help establish healthy habits and life skills such as, cooking, shopping, proper hygiene and financial literacy.
• Work with housing managers and partner agencies to reach program outcomes and establish the culture of the facility.
• Ensure maintenance and minor care of the house, communicating significant issues to the landlord or overnight trustees.
• Contact crisis navigators or first responders for emergency situations after hours and communicate care needs with partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least twenty-five years of age.
• Have at least two years of full-time experience working with adolescents.
• Have completed first aid, CPR, HIV/AIDS/Blood borne pathogen training and tuberculin test.

• Possess current driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and personal automobile insurance.
• Be trained in crisis response, trauma informed care and cultural care
• Have a BA in Psychology or a related field.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. Internet research skills are a plus.
