Coffee Shop position - Minimum wage plus tips (tips average $6 /hour)
The Coffee Corner is a local family owned coffee shop committed to delivering outstanding customer service and high-quality products to our community.
We are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for serving customers. Coffee Corner baristas are out-going, motivated and enthusiastic about producing superior coffee, tea and food items in a fast-paced work environment.
Currently seeking individuals for shifts at multiple locations.
Drive - thru location looking to hire for morning shifts.
This position requires ability to handle a fast-paced drive-thru as well as walk-in customers with superior customer service. If you thrive on making people feel welcome and making their day at 6:30am every day, we welcome your application.
Town Center location shifts vary. Requires Saturday availability.
Responsibilities and Duties
The ideal team member will be willing and able to:
- welcome and engage all customers with genuine enthusiasm
- be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and food products and preparation
- work early morning shifts with energy
- stay cool under pressure during busy shifts
- pay close attention to details
- work well in a team setting
- multi-task in a dynamic environment
- clean, stock and set up
- have expert knowledge of menu
- prepare beverages and food in a consistent manner according to established recipes
- keep inventory, coffee service and merchandise stocked, spotless, and presentable
- take personal responsibility for Coffee Corner operations
Qualifications and Skills 1 years experience in high volume retail/customer service preferred but not required
- Strong cash handling skills
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Take orders and respond to questions and concerns with patience, confidence, and professionalism, using all available resources
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
