The Coffee Bar is Hiring a Barista Near Ludlow, VT

Overview:

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment following safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Upsell products and offer suggestions to customers based on their preferences
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems
- Follow food safety standards and procedures for food handling

Skills:

- Barista experience a plus, but with the right person we are willing to train
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math for cash handling
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and latte art is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a willingness to help and engage with customers
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations

We are looking for both part time and seasonal baristas, so we can work together to customize a schedule that works for you.

Pay: $15/hour plus tips

Shift: Day shift

Weekly day range: Weekend with option to add weekdays in the future

Work Location: In person
