Job Overview
The Field Service Coordinator works with little direction to ensure a high quality of customer service. Service is to be completed weekly and should never extend more than a month’s time. Responsibilities include ordering the parts needed to complete service and scheduling the field service technician/s to complete the service. High attention to detail and a complete knowledge of products is essential to the tasks performed within this position.
The goal is to complete requested service within a 5-business day turn around. This maximizes customer commitment and the prosperity of business by producing results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Undertake all customer support tasks within the service department
- Operate efficiently to conclude all on site repair, maintenance, and test activities
- Ensure that the work progress accurately follows the agenda
- Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
- Provide backup and support to the customer service department
- Ability to answer calls in a prompt and professional manner
- Effectively work as a team
- Pinpoint customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
- Build customer relations
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities
- Respond to emails
Requirements
- Previous experience in service or related field is a plus
- Ability to multitask
- Great organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
Education
- High School Diploma /GED preferred or equivalent work/life experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Able lift up to 50 lbs periodically

- Dress code for this position is business casual
