The Co-op Frosé & Eatery services Bank of America stadium for all games and events and we will be serving at Truist Field for all Knights baseball games. We also serve at the Wells Fargo Championship golf tournament at Quail Hollow Country Club and continue to add more events around the Charlotte area. We are seeking an experienced Events Lead to join our team to support the shop manager in effectively handling all events and catering operations. As the Events Lead, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong ability to manage time and resources effectively.
```Responsibilities```
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with organizational goals
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for event improvement
- Create and implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor coordination
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits for each event
```Experience```
- Proven experience in events management, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences
- Experience in budgeting and financial management for events of various sizes
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and techniques to drive attendance and engagement
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality events
