JOB TITLE: Housekeeper

DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping

REPORTS TO: Department Supervisor or Manager

STATUS: Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills & Abilities: 

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend and carry out instructions. 
• Ability to maintain positive and professional approach with team members and guests.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess the ability to interact with members in a professional positive and friendly manner.
• Ability to adhere to all safety regulations including (PPE).
• Constant awareness of safety hazards.

Education/Experience: 

• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping industry preferred.
• Experience using various types of cleaning products and machines preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to speak, see, hear, and move about freely in muti-floor buildings.
• Required to bend, stoop, lift from ground to overhead carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and work for periods of time. 
• Required to work around cleaning chemicals. 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing the assigned buildings including the Clubhouse, Fitness Center

and Spa Facility, Equestrian Center, Log Cabin, etc. 

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish all woodwork and chairs.
• Empty all receptacles.
• Clean and maintain windows, blinds, and mirrors. 
• Clean patios, patio furniture, and fireplaces after use. Spot the patio cushions when necessary.
• Immediately report any stains, tears, chips, on furnishing or building areas to a supervisor.
• Report and log areas that need maintenance repair to a supervisor.
• Required to be in proper and complete uniform as designated.
