Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This is a leadership role that requires strong culinary knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all food and beverage operations, including dining areas, bars, and catering services
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create menus and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food production
- Oversee inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff members to provide exceptional service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special promotions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the overall dining experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in culinary arts or food service management
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and inventory control
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and customers
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff members
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
