Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This includes managing the dining areas, supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties:
- Manage all food and beverage operations, including dining areas, bars, and catering services
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Hire, train, and supervise staff members
- Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient operation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Maintain a positive working relationship with vendors and negotiate contracts for food and beverage purchases
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the overall dining experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of bartending techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with culinary principles and practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
