Clayton Members Club is managed by Aparium Hotel Group which was founded in 2011 by Chicago hospitality executive and entrepreneur Mario Tricoci. Mario saw a clear need for a company that could bring c-suite service and accommodations to underserved, yet distinct and important cities while maintaining and celebrating the unadulterated character of each. Driven by the belief that all hospitality experiences should be fueled by the poetics of their surroundings, Aparium was born with an intense focus on unearthing the amazing moments unique to every city.

WHO YOU ARE
Your past experiences have led you to understand that community happens intentionally though organically. There is an art science to getting a communal setting just right, and it’s all about the people in it. A carefully curated group of people will inspire one another by being unique and diverse, curious and captivating and you are the gravity in the center of it.
The Membership concierge is the glue that holds the club experiencer together. Positioned at the concierge desk to ensure Members have a warm welcome and a fond farewell. The concierge is the go-to person for all Member questions and needs.
What is a Member: Clayton members pay dues annually or monthly, and have full access to all club spaces, amenities, and events. Hotel guests are considered “Members” for the duration of their stay. Out of town guests from our partnered/reciprocal clubs also have full access to club spaces and programming when they visit. Any guest of the hotel or guest of a member is a potential member. Bottom line, treat every person you encounter in the club like a rockstar.
THE ROLE
  • Lifestyle- the go to person for VIP services at Clayton, special hotel rates, nice amenity or round of drinks in the Club. Grow the concierge services to offer dining reservations in Cherry Creek, car services and other concierge recommendations.
  • Reservations - dining, membership event and hotel
  • Retention - work with the Membership Experience Manager to develop a system to acknowledge all Members for special occasions
  • Lead for Sonato inquiries and reservations
  • Member Perks Expert- ensure all Members are aware of the many perks included in their membership and facilitate use of these perks
  • Monitor HMS for Member hotel reservations and reach out in advance to ensure all preferences and amenities are set in place. Daily reviewing of HMS arrival reports. Identify our key Members for the Day. Sales VIP’s, Members, Repeat Guests and communicate with them pre-arrival with an introduction through Alice, E-mail or Personalized Phone call
  • Daily Communication of all VIP reservations to the team. Ensure amenities are set-up for arrival and experience feels personalized
  • Offer comprehensive tours of prospective Members and VIP’s and record notes in the tour tracker. A conversion rate of 75% of tours to Members is the benchmark.
  • Vibe check- walk Member spaces and ensure the music is at the defined volume levels, lights proper level, temperature is right, spaces are tidy and Members have what they need. What do you hear, see and smell. Ensure any property maintenance needs are entered in Alice.
  • Member surprise and delights- work with culinary and F&B to offer little surprises during the day (mini smoothies, a sample coffee beverage, a tray of warm muffins, mini pours of prosecco when the line is long at the bar.)
  • Event Host and Support- work with Membership Events team to set up, host and break down events for Members. Ensure Members feel welcomed and cared for during the events. Update shared reporting docs nightly to ensure communication on event details is organized and strategic.
  • Send event reminder emails and phone calls when needed. Support updating Member photos, profiles and shared Guest List
  • Support New Member Orientations and Open Houses
  • Customer Service support- work with the Membership Experience Manager to ensure timely responses to Membership inbox and phone line.
  • Liaison with Artists Members to ensure their works are protected, properly hung, contracts up to date and bios are updated on website, app and shared documents.
  • Send post stay e-mails, calls and text to our Members and VIP to find out about the stay. Encourage Trip Advisor Reviews.
  • Support the team with pre-selling of all ticketed events through SMS, Calls or E-mail
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Monitor, review, and report on monthly membership trends, members, and events
  • Acting as the ultimate brand ambassador, becoming the go-to property expert
  • Work cross-functionally between various departments to ensure a high-level of support
  • Schedule and conduct weekly club tours
  • Point of contact for new members, assisting in the onboarding and signing up for new members
  • Assist with onsite events, engage others in a genuine and warm fashion inside and outside the property
  • Uphold and model the company’s principles of People, Place, and Character; and drive collaboration, intuition, and translocal hospitality
EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
  • You excel in building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to have a proactive and innovative approach to identifying business opportunities
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Adaptable interpersonal skills for a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Docs. Proficiency with HMS, Infor, and OpenTable preferred but not required.
  • Experience within a hotel, membership club, or hospitality is a plus
  • Professional proficiency of the English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Comfortable in your own skin, know who you are and have a point of view
Pay Rate: $22 - $25 / hour
