Position Overview:

As a Professional Land Surveyor at The Clayton Engineering Company, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in our surveying projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting field surveys, analyzing data, and ensuring the highest standards of precision. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS receivers.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and legal descriptions.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Land Surveyor License: You must hold a valid PLS license in the state of Illinois. Missouri license is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional land surveying experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Products or other Survey Software, Microsoft Office, etc.) and field equipment.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are paramount.
• Strong Communication: Effective communication with clients and team members.
