As Project Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of construction including earthwork, installations, and other construction activities. This role involves managing and supervising field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Job Title: Project Superintendent

Project Types: Life Sciences

Compensation: Depends on experience but is up to 200K and will include a mix of base salary, bonus, full benefits, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute construction sequences: Craft detailed strategies to maximize the use of work crews before site mobilization, with special consideration for the unique requirements of life science facilities such as cleanrooms.
• Interpretation of project blueprints: Accurately read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications pertinent to life science structures like laboratories and research centers.
• Project monitoring: Oversee the use of resources and monitor the financial aspects of construction activities to ensure profitability, paying close attention to strict budget and regulatory compliance typical of life science projects.
• Close-out processes: Manage the final stages of projects by handling essential tasks tailored to life science facilities, including the coordination of comprehensive punch lists, delivery of as-built drawings, provision of operations and maintenance manuals, and the compilation of final billing.
• Safety and compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to specialized safety protocols relevant to life science environments, follow established company safety guidelines, and engage proactively with safety officials to foster a culture focused on compliance and safety.

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience, specifically in environments related to life sciences such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and specific regulations relevant to life sciences.
