The City of Radcliff Police Department is Hiring a Police Officer Near Radcliff, KY

Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and ensuring public safety. This is a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity for those who are passionate about serving and protecting others.

Duties:
- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public order
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and respond to emergency situations
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests as necessary
- Provide assistance and support to victims of crimes or accidents
- Perform traffic control duties and enforce traffic laws
- Respond to calls for service and provide assistance to the public
- Write detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and daily activities
- Conduct interviews and interrogations as part of criminal investigations
- Handle animals in various situations, including animal control and assistance

Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a certified police academy or equivalent training program
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and effective communication with the public
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and effectively
- Knowledge of law enforcement principles, practices, procedures, and techniques
- Experience in loss prevention or security is a plus
