Embark on an exciting journey with the Middleton Youth Center, a dynamic and free after-school and summer program tailored for fifth to eighth-grade youth! As the heartbeat of our mission, the Youth Center Director, under the direct guidance of the Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation for Recreation, passionately collaborates with youth daily. This visionary leader oversees the Youth Center, steering the ship in developing, implementing, and evaluating captivating after-school and summer programs for the vibrant youth in the Middleton Area.
Our services go beyond the ordinary, focusing on fostering youth leadership, nurturing positive decision-making, ensuring school success, building valuable assets, and promoting active community/civic engagement. The Director's role extends to supervising the Youth Center staff, interns, and volunteers, orchestrating a symphony of academic support, enriching activities, refreshing pool days, thrilling field trips, and impactful service-learning opportunities.
Our mission is crystal clear - establishing an infrastructure in Middleton that empowers youth to cultivate skills, exercise leadership, and form meaningful relationships with caring adults. Join us in creating an environment where each youth not only thrives but discovers their full potential!
