Position Summary:

Assists the Community Engagement Team with hands-on tasks related to engagement with external partners and planning special events.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• None.

Essential Job Functions: 

Special Events

• Being involved in aspects of City Mission fundraising and friend-raising special events: planning, execution and post-event wrap-up
• Having direct contact with event sponsors, participants, volunteers and the media
• Being responsible for event logistics in collaboration with the Community Engagement Team, employees, volunteers and external partners

Donor Relations 

• Maintaining relationships with Hope Partners and Comeback Kits
• Assist with Lapsed Donors project 
• Assist with online fundraising initiatives 
  • Heighten presence in social media avenues
• Perform concentrated research on younger generation?donors 
• Assist with development and creation of Speaker’s Bureau materials and planning
