PART TIME MORNING POSITION 6:30 AM -12:30 PM

- Wed to Fri Morning: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 2:30 PM -7:30 PM
- Saturday Morning: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or Saturday Afternoon: 2:30 PM - 9:30 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
**About Us:**
As a Barista at the Year-Round Christmas Cafe, you will be the heart and soul of our cafe, responsible for creating and serving delightful beverages and treats while providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make every visit a memorable experience and spread the holiday spirit year-round.
*Barista Duties:*
- Craft and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages with precision and creativity.
- Prepare pour-over coffees, and signature holiday-themed beverages..
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee preparation area.
- Ensure that coffee machines and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Educate customers about our menu items and make personalized recommendations.
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and provide product information
- Upsell products and promote special offers
- Process returns and exchanges
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Proficient in using a cash register and other point-of-sale systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, and totals
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 36 per week
